Looks like the year's AHA Big Brew is going to be a very
big success. Not all the sites have reported in but so far 240
locations brewed 602 batches for 4777 gallons and reports are
still coming in.
You can read more about it on Charlie
Papazian's Blog . You can also watch AHA Big Brew videos
on YouTube.
(7/17/08 update) THE FINAL RESULTS ARE
IN.....
Almost 4000 participants creating 1240 batches of beer
totaling 10,500+ gallons. Participants hailed from 42
States in the US, 4 sites each in England, Canada, and
Australia; 3 sites each in Russia and Brazil; 2 sites each in
the Netherlands, Israel, and Argentina; and one site each in
Kenya and Uruguay! These are fantastic numbers!!!!!
More information including the Big Brew recipes
can be found on the AHA
